There is even a music player for the rack that will also act as a tool battery charger: DEWALT DWST08810 ToughSystem Music Player with Charger - - Amazon.com

Our shop space seems to always shrink, or we seem to be getting more stuff. Maybe it's both. If you suffer from either or both of these, then you need the DeWalt ToughSystem Tool Storage and Organization. This small foot print system allows you to stack bins, but still be able to access each without un-stacking.

The ToughSystem is a modular storage and organization system that incorporates a wall rack, travel carrier or cart, and different storage cases, totes and organizers. All the boxes with lids include a soft rubber seal to protect from our harsh environment. Whether it be rain, snow or construction dust, the DeWalt ToughSystem has you covered.

only thing I would be leary of is Dewalt is switching it's battery powered tools over to a new system that will run on 20v to 60v , they are already showing versions of the new tools , so far I have seen the 60v circular saw on the sales floor locally and a couple of tools that will run on either battery are also being demoed here but I haven'r seen them on the shelf like the saw is .It would really suck to drop that kind of money on a 12v-20v charging station only to have it be obsolete by the time you unpacked it .
PS that of course takes nothing away from the organizer / storage system which is awesome .

Any professional or DIYer that would own that many Dewalt tools, would likely have the ability to make a rack to store their tools. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the plastics they use for everything. But, you know what they say about opinions...

I think I agree

You don't have to own or use dewalt tools to use the storage system. I kinda like the system. Yes, I could build my own, but everyone cant or doesn't want to spend the time to do so.

Personally, I like to keep tools segregated a bit. ie. I like to keep all the tools I need for a specific kind of project in one place. So for example, I have a plumbing box with PVC cutter, PVC glue, flux, solder, propane tips, monkey wrenches, etc, etc.

exactly as a Union Carpenter working in the Reno Division of a major Construction company in my home market I have complete sets for different types of work , I do a lot of fine finishing and reno work but also have to do heavy Carpentry and concrete so I can just load the boxes that apply to the job I am doing and don't have to re organize every time I change sites which can be daily . Some small renos there's no budget for plumbing and electrical rework so I have to be ready for anything .

I'm looking for some kind of tool storage system currently, hence why I was looking at this
