Been getting some body work done on the drivers front fender and both rear quarters, where I filled in the marker light openings, which are nice and shapely now. The passenger side of the car has parking lot rash but no dents to deal with. That leaves the tail light panel which has a few spots of cancer around several of the bolt holes for the lights and some trim holes to fill. This car has suffered from a long term moisture problem in the trunk area which has resulted in wide spread rust damage everywhere. Annoying and time consuming to fix but has to be done.
Pic 1: This is the aluminum panel I had made to block off the trunk from the interior. Pic 2: I used 1/8" x 1" aluminum angle to make some brackets and constructed a frame around the opening to attach the panel to. Pic 3: Frame is riveted to the inner wheel wells and the trunk hinge brackets.
