Hey there everyone. So I have a pretty interesting car on my hands. Many years ago in the early 80's (way before I was born) my father picked up this car and it was in rough shape to say the least, but it was complete. He slowly started stripping the whole car in order to do a full restoration on it. He took it all apart, but never got back to the "putting it back together" stage for the last 30 or so years due to the dozens of other cars he owned. He passed away in July of 2016, and has left me his cars. This one has been the hardest to sell because of reasons. This car IS an original '69 GTS Convertible 340 4-Speed. The VIN is on the original engine block *LS27P9B187938* and the sequence numbers that correspond to the VIN are stamped into the radiator support, and under the trunk lid gasket. Now the problem is, I do not have the paper work for this car, nor do I have the fender tag, or the dash tag. These will make registering the car an issue. I'm currently still rummaging through his belongings after all this time to still look for it, but I cannot find any paper work for any of the three Darts he had. No the other two are not for sale lol.

Now to talk about the car and not the VIN. You guys would know more than me, but these options make the car one out of 54? 36? I can't remember but its something pretty rare. The cars original color was B5 Blue, and it was a stripe delete car. It had power steering, and the interior color was black. Not sure if it was bench or bucket, but I have SO many seats to sell with it its not funny. It currently is a shell and only has all sheetmetal, K-frame, torsion bars, convertible top and hydraulic motor, rear end, and leaf springs. It also has en extra convertible top skeleton and exhaust pipes I found laying around in it. There is a very light amount of surface rust spots on floor surfaces. Underneath is immaculate. No rot anywhere.

Here's a general list of parts that come with it to restore it.

-Trim --- I have SO MUCH TRIM from multiple vehicles. You will take it ALL because I'm not sure what's what and I don't want you to be without that last piece of trim.
-Transmission --- I don't think I have the original transmission, but I may have another one for an A-body laying around. Im not sure if its even for an A-body, or if I'd even want to sell it.
-Wheels --- I"m not sure what the original wheels look like, but you're more than welcome to browse through his wheel and hubcap collection and take what you'd like.

There is probably more that I'm forgetting to mention, but come get a better feel for it when you come and look!

I know I'm selling the car to another person, but the only things I ask of the buyer, be that it gets restored to factory spec just as my father would have, and that I can be consistently updated with whats going on with the car. My entire life, this car sat in the position it's in now and served only as a workbench. It would mean so much to me if I could see this car back in its former glory and driven by someone who thoroughly enjoys it for what it is.

I'm asking $7,500 obo, and I'm located in Stratford CT.

Sorry about your dads passing. I bet hes laughing at us that would love to ogle his collection.
Very cool.
If it was me I would DIG for any paperwork at all on that car. It would be worth the effort and/or $$ to get a title etc

Anyone heard from DJ?
Sent multiple PM's
NO response??

He's got one post here. The car is probably advertised in a lot of places and he may not even remember all of them. If you are truly interested I would suggest checking Craig's List for his local area and any other site you can think of...
