Hey there,
My car is a 1970 Duster 340 auto with 8 3/4 diff. I need to replace the pinion seal and the parts guy at the local parts store says there are 2 seals available depending on wether the diff case is a 489 or 741. I checked my case and it is a 742. What seal do I use? Any ideas?
