Long time ss/a racer bullet Bob Reed passed on, leaving behind an incomparable legacy of getting his hemi 4 SPD barracuda down the track, setting multiple records, and being an all around Easy to talk to good guy. The first time I met Bob I walked up to him in the pits at Norwalk just to look his car over and tell him how much I enjoyed watching him make it work! We talked briefly like we'd known each other for years. What a great guy, what racers should aspire to be. Thanks Bob
 
Wow, I just heard. So sorry to hear this. He was always my favorite, ever since I met him at Rockingham twenty some years ago. RIP Bullet Bob Reed.

Wow, so sad to hear. I met Bob at Quaker City years ago he was a easy guy to talk to. He was making his car fly way before the big money came in to that class. He always raced in his boots I remember. :)
Great guy.
