Disc ideas

Late model discs widens the track a little but wouldn't cause a rub unless tires are oversized. I had late model A-body LBP discs under our first 67 fish. 14 inch rallyes and 205/70-14 didn't rub. A 215 just might rub. 195 is closest to the stock 'e' polyglass tire.
There are ways to put a sway bar under there with those brakes too. I just typed all that yesterday in another thread.
The downside of late model discs to consider. You would still have 7/16 studs 5 left hand and 5 right hand small bolt pattern on the rear. Then 10 of 1/2 studs, all right hand on the large bolt pattern front. Maybe they do make lbp to sbp adapters, I have never searched those. Adapters would widen the front track even more.
Maybe carry 2 lug wrenches and 2 spares. I did for a few years when that first fish was our daily driver. The large bolt pattern rear went in eventually. My goal was large bolt pattern all around so I rolled with a mixed bag of trix for a while.
You could buy 2 of 4" to 4.5" pattern adapters ( that would widen the rear track about the same ) 5 large bolt pattern wheels, 1 lug wrench, and yer good.
Thanks! Or maybe staying sbp all around with disc's for the same would be easier. I wanted cop wheels but I have nice rallys 14" now.
