MRL 340 for the 21st Century

it would appear the recent 318 mini stroker you built would be a way better deal money wise, would you agree with me
That would depend on what your looking to do with the power plant. There's a big difference in 356HP/426TQ that runs 87 octane and the above 340. The mini stroker also uses more common inexpensive parts like Magnum heads, inexpensive intake and a 600cfm carb. A small MP Hyd. Cam was used. There is a big price difference in the parts as well as a big difference in power.

That mini stroked 318 would be an excellent cruiser that can get the car moving very well. That engine would really be at home on the Hwy. with no problem. Even in a B body.
