Possessed by Demons
This is a complete A/C system removed yesterday (April 9) from my 71 Dodge Demon. This is the entire system including all the under hood components, interior components, controls, hardware, clips and even the belt! This system was working and blowing cold when I bought this car in 2008 and put it into storage. Over the last two years since I have had it out the push buttons have gotten "sticky" and wouldn't return, it was stuck on "heat". Once I got the control unit out I sprayed some silicone lube around the button plastic pieces and they now will switch with a little effort. All of the parts are here but I would still recommend a good refurb of the components and new seals/O rings.
The A/C was still running R-12 and there was still small bit of pressure evident when I disconnected the hoses. Attached are pics of the system still in place and then one from last night with all the components removed. I'm also attaching a short You Tube video of me cycling the compressor before I too it off.
I'm asking $200 and it's located in Central Illinois. I would prefer not to ship it, but possibly free delivery to Northern Illinois or Central/Southeast Wisconsin could be arranged.
