I forgot to take a picture on disassembly and the clutch doesn't state. What side faces the flywheel? I'm guessing the flat side, left side in the pic.
ThanksThe flat side is the flywheel side
Yup, what ^^^ said. The flat side is the flywheel side
Cool. Figured it couldn't go any other way.
The fun part is keeping it on the fork ends as you slip the trans in!Cool. Figured it couldn't go any other way.
Speaking of slipping it in... What parts of the shaft should I lube up?The fun part is keeping it on the fork ends as you slip the trans in!
I lightly greased the surfaces except the spline.Did you put a half teaspoon of grease in the crank bushing?
Yeah it better! Or you will have all kinds of problems. And the throw out bearing faces toward the pressure plate?

Thanks for the help! Got it in. Your driveline trick worked great. Having the hoist hold it up was also key.The bushing calls for grease.
If your satisfied with the disc alignment click it in gear and turn the splines with the drive shaft or a spare yolk while pushing in.
I always use a bungee cord, it seems to help. The fun part is keeping it on the fork ends as you slip the trans in!
Those 833's are heavy but man are they tough! Thanks for the help! Got it in. Your driveline trick worked great. Having the hoist hold it up was also key.
