How many seat belts in the back of a 76 dart. Mine only has 2 . Not one I. The middle. I'd like a 3rd in the back. Just wanna make sure I can . Looks like there is room

Center belt uses the same bolt locations by the center hump, so adding a third one is no big deal.

I figured that just want a reassurance lol. Safety first when it comes to the kids. Not trying to race this car at all. Just a DD for my lady

Seatbeltsplus.com, $16 a piece for chrome lift latch lap belts. That's what I put in my dart, they look old school and work great.

I would feel down there first. If you remove the lower seat cushion, you can also recover a lot of change, perhaps the build sheet, etc. Many people pushed the seat-belts below the seats. In the 1970's, I would drive with fools who ridiculed you for using a seat-belt. Wonder how many of those geniuses are still alive. Perhaps they thought they could bench-press 2000 lb in a 10g accident to keep their face off the windshield.

Lol. I already checked. I crawled thru the trunk and can see where the belts are bolted. Only the sides haves belts and buckles none for the middle. Kids didn't tell me the first few times they rode in the car. Luckily there are 3 in the front bench lol. Tempted to keep the bench just so it will hold 6 ppl total lol. Unfortunately my lady is 5'2 and I'm 5'11 so if she wants to drive and I'm in the car it's uncomfortable to say the least. I'm not really crammed in but the windshield is to close for comfort. We got into an argument because I wanted to buy some racing bucket seats and she complaint she couldn't see around them when she was looking behind her :( so I'm probably gonna be looking thru some dodges in the junk yard for a set of like new stock buckets out of a newer car. I like seats that help hold you in place

I just put a set of Dodge Durango seats in my 65 Valiant. Not bad figment and the drivers seat is electric. You can use the lap belts that come with the car. I'm making a special plate for the bolts that go through the floor pan for the seat to mount to. Add some strength to the floor board. My lady is 5 ft tall and she can drive the 3 spd all day long now and I can ride comfortably instead of the bench

They feel great. We drove fifty miles last night and around town today, I'm going to pull them out and redo the angle iron front mounts. With how they look in the car, I think it's an insult to use angle iron and I want them to look as factory as possible. So I got new brackets for them.

A few of my buddies like the way they look as well. They still have that classic look to them with with high backs, and for what I paid, I can't beat them. Junkyarding is a fantastic way to bring things back that would be shredded and made into something else. Saves money, and me and the miss's had a fun time in the hot sun yanking them out and a blast with my girls putting them in.

Just take the time and do it right, and you'll save a ton of money by doing it yourself. 150 bucks max for everything and your are staying in the Mopar family of parts
