1972 340 Duster

1972 340 Duster original H code car. I've owned this car since the late 80's. I started to redo this car over 15 yrs ago and life just got in the way. Now I'm looking to trim down the projects list to make life a little more manageable.

The floor pan is solid and so is the trunk. There are a couple rusted spots but nothing major. Overall the car is really solid.

The front suspension was rebuilt with poly bushing and new parts from American Muscle including pivot pins, torsion adjusters, strut rods and the lower control arms have been reinforced. Also has new tubular upper control arms and .990 torsion bars. Set up with LBP spindles. I was planning on getting it to handle around turns.

I have the original block that has been tanked, bored 030, decks matched, and cam bearings installed. I have new TRW pistons with recon rods, New Comp Cams Thumpr cam and lifters. The original J heads are being redone with new valves, guides, and Comp Cams 995 springs to match the cam. LD340 intake with an Edelbrock carb.

The rear is the original 8 3/4 housing with a 3.91 sg and offset hanger/shackles. Axles have long studs from when I used to race.

Will come with a 727 or 904 core, buyers choice.

Car has an 8 point rollbar and frame connectors so the "frame" is straight, doors close really nice.

It does have the original Sharktooth grill that is in nice condition.

It'll have different front wheels than what's in the photos.

There is probably more to tell and I will post them as I remember....sucks getting old lol.

I'm also including in the asking price:
Extra 340 .060 block, crank, pistons and rods (the orange on in the pictures)
Real MP ducktail spoiler and front airdam
Extra tail lights

Located in Las Vegas, Nevada
$7500
