CAR SHOW Ebody Jerks turn their noses up

I stopped going to car shows for these exact reasons. I go to swap meets, but car shows are a waste of time. Bunch of rich a-holes comparing wankers. Definitely gets worse as the cars go up in value, but, it isn't exclusive to E bodies. Seems like most of the owners don't build their own cars and don't know a thing about them. But they'll crap on a daily driver that would leave their car in the dust just because it has a few dents or scratches. Screw 'em.

i agree 100%. has been like that ever since mopars were the latest fad.. investment type guys not enthusiasts bought a mopar for the value in them not the love of them..

i remember at 19 and just getting into bringing a car to a show or cruise.. the older mopar guys would talk with ya and share knowledge with you.. we were the minority at events.. it was a brother hod of sorts.. still like that to a point these days but those old timers are dying off off slowly but surely. now the mopar market is flooded with checkbook guys that don't know much but what the car cost , they are the ones that look down at ya if that 5th digit isn't the big dollar digit or its just a measly a-body or god forbid you built a car how you wanted to not how it came from the factory...

in the end i don't really care. i have my group of friends that are all mopar enthusiasts and build and drive the hell out of our cars no matter what body style they are.

these days i rarely pay to go to a show.. i prefer stopping in at a cruise night, socializing for a bit, grabbing a bite to eat and going elsewhere... that paying $20 to practice professional parking for 6 hours waiting for a stupid *** 99 cent trophy just isn't for me...

i will say thought that jamies dart seems to get a lot of attention from people at cruises for some reason.. maybe its the color or something. who knows..

thursday night at that cruise i was at there was a little 4 door 64 valiant that got tons of attention.. that was cool to see the car getting some love..
