Is a 5.2 Magnum worth it?

So at work I have the opportunity to take whatever I want out of a running 2000 ram van 2500. It's a 318, unfortunately NOT a 360. However it has a 2 wheel drive o/d trans and I can strip anything else I want from it cuz it's getting scrapped! Is it worth pulling the engine, trans, harness, PCM and anything else you guys suggest? Now keep in mind, it is a VAN not a pick-up and I don't have a plan for it yet! However, my thought is, if I come across a decent a-body that needs a drive train, I could make a nice daily out of it. What do u think, is it worth the hassle?

Yes it is take everything.
 
i you do take the assembly, make sure you get the power steering bracket, Van power steering mount locates pump lower than battery bracket in A bodies and you can keep serpentine setup .

And if you don't need that power steering pump bracket, please send it to me, I need one asap. Thanks
 
Ok, cool. I'll definitely strip the drive train out of it. And thanks for the tip on the p/s bracket!
