I guess I've not experienced anything at the local shows around me to what's being discussed here.

• I can't imagine being offended because somebody isn't interested in giving me a gold star for my car.

I've had people ask me how do I bench flow my home ported heads. My answer is "E.T. slip". It's the best bench flow, best dyno that I know of :D To that I've never had a response, end of conversation :)

You really want to see the noses in the air around here?

Say "Offenhauser" instead of "Edelbrock."

"Cast iron" instead of "aluminum."

Mention having an F- or an M-body and the replies will be split. Half the responses will be positive the other half will be someone with his nose in the air.



Seriously, it's all forms. Take a fairly stock nice '65 Mustang and park it next to a Mach I, Boss 302, or even worse yet a Boss 429 and listen.

Take a nice '70 Monte Carlo and park it next to a Camaro SS or Chevelle SS and listen to the Chevy guys.

Don't dare be an AMC owner at a Mopar show..
