CAR SHOW Ebody Jerks turn their noses up
My first ever attempt at building a car was an E body. I was green and naive and had no idea how much they actually cost to build. I bought a project. Looked like this when I got it.
I got as far as the picture below.
Everything was going well until it came time to buy parts.....$300 for door handles...$75 for dash screws ( for real !!). This was 2007-08 close to the height of ridiculous pricing for parts and cars. I hated getting ripped off so I sold off the project. BUT I must say....the E body guys that helped me out were salt of the earth nice to me and very helpful.
