Package Tray Question..

Were the package trays color coded by chance? Or were they all black in 72 ??
 
I believe color coded. I had a 72 b1 blue scamp with b5 blue interior and the package tray matched the interior. And I know that car was never touched or taken apart

Funny I never really paid to much attention to them. I made my today, looks pretty good.
 
I ordered mine new, exact reproduction. It's plain fiber board, the ends have vinyl on them. like a half inch showing. Other than that just plain fiber board. I wouldn't be happy with it if it wasn't how mother Mopar did it back in the day.
 
All the Plymouths I've owned, B'cudas and Valiants 67 thru 75, were color keyed. 3 reds, 1 blue, 1 yellow, and 1 black.
