CAR SHOW Ebody Jerks turn their noses up

hey i know the snob's are everywhere . in 2000 my bud and i went to a concours letter car show in newark , ca . mr letter car gary gowers himself was one of the judges . we just went to look mind you maybe talk with gowers . well we drove my beater 64 k h/t 340 hp 413 , just a car thats been around the block , if you catch my drift . and we got ushered into the marching band with biton twirlers and a ful marching band down main st in newark , to a city park , well all there beauty queens around us . so we go to park in the lot next to the show , and again we're put in the show between a 64 k rag full resto , and a 65 l 4spd . we had a great time watching all these folks polish n wax them up for this show . even a german guy barking orders to his crew , polishing on a one off colored 57 c . it was gorges , as if no one that ever owned it . but we did have a good time with the other owners of snubbed cars . one guy with the 65 l 4spd car , charge the engine for the trip , from ny state . out came the long ram 413 and a 383 6pck took its place . nice guy he was . but other than the pro's that where there , only a hand full of the snubs worked on the cars to get them to the state there in . pocketbook car people . and their down noise us that did it all . oh and we drove a car there , that had the most produced of any year letter car . and it was the only one , there was a 64 k rag . told the gal that was showing the resto process of her car with a photo book . '' i said , i had one of them also '' guess i didn't impress her , lol .
