Does anyone here know if 275/r15's on a 15 x 8" rim will fit a 67 barracuda without cutting the fenders?

That's what I'm running, 275/60R15 on 15x8". They don't fit under the car but they don't run the front of the fenderwell, they are about 1" from it.
