whats a good electric fuel pump. not looking to spend over 200$ i was looking at a QF 30-125

I guess that really depends on the setup and what you plan on doing with the car... more information would be needed to give a good recommendation.
factory fuel line/system?
Engine built or stock?
Carb'd or Fuel injected?

well, price wise I think you've nailed it. Looks like that quick fuel pump is a holley clone. Probably wouldn't hurt to upgrade to 3/8" at some point. Although 5/16 should work for where you're at.
THis pump is a little more expensive, but it seems to be a popular choice with hotrodders.

I personally have a carter rotary vane. They last pretty good. Never had one actually fail on me.

hmm.. most carbs only need 4.5-6psi anyhow. I could see a possible fuel starvation issue especially while drag racing.
It does mention that model runs 4.5-8 psi.. There could be another problem limiting the fuel pressure.

My old tank and fuel lines were clogged and beat to hell. I would run between 2psi and 6 1/2 psi randomly. I have since rebuilt the entire fuel system and now it's a solid 6 1/2 all the time.

thats y im looking for an other option.. maybe the carter you showed woudl work better as it is higher pressure..
