Spl 440 - it looks like you used flatbar for the bottom mount. Is the alternator bolted to the head at all? I'm just curious on how solid the alt is. Looks pretty simple
Jos- my alt keeps up to everything until I turn lights on . Lights have been upgraded so they draw more than factory
This is a great thread on the alt. swapping, but back to the lighting, did you upgrade the wiring/harness....or just the lamps? Member crackedback has a kit that is very
effective at boosting the output of stock lamps, and may be a mandatory if aftermarket lamps are used that draw more current, search & there are pics of the difference.
It is pretty dramatic, using the relay kit will improve things much, also check out the sticky on improved lighting or "Modern upgrades".
