The Barber

An old man goes to the barber for a shave. He tells the barber that he is afraid that all of the wrinkles on his cheeks will prevent a close shave.

The barber pulls a wooden ball out of a little bowl on the counter and tells him to put it in his cheek. This will stretch the skin so that a good close shave can be had.

After the barber is done, the old man asks him: "What would have happened if I had swallowed the ball?"

Barber says: "Everyone else just brings it back the next day."
