Anyone have some recommendations for replacement door and window weather stripping for a 1966 Dart GT?? Thanks a lot...

You can check around with your favorite vendor, but the door windlace is supplied to all of the vendors by the same source, Restoration Specialties. For a windshield gasket you can use either a Precision Gasket or Steele Rubber. The rear gasket to my knowledge is a Steele piece. For window felts, I would suggest the Top Cat brand. Depending how far your going with the replacement seals, inner fender seals, hood to cowl and hood to radiator seals are available as well as is trunk weatherstrip. You may find it cheaper to purchase from various vendors for the individual items or you can drop me a message for pricing as well.

1966 dodge dart Beltline weatherstrip
are called cat whiskers and go in the door to glass seal. cost about 139.00 almost everywhere

door weather stripping can be bought in colors and run between 120.00 to 159.00.
Mopar Door Seals - 1962-1965 B-body, 1963-1966 A-body 2 Door Hardtop /Convertible - Dante’s | Mopar Parts Catalog |Classic Muscle Car Parts
BUT if you can get away with black the just get some chevy S-10 or 1st gen dodge ram truck door seals. (45.00 to 80.00) what I ended up using was 1992 dodge ram truck and I had enough that it would have done a sedan instead of the convertible or hardtop
1978-1993 Dodge Pickup/Ramcharger Door Seals
about 55.00

the s-10 weather stripping was cheaper by a bit but took forever(4 months with the doors closed) to "crush into shape and let the door close naturally. oops 4 months longer than the dodge ram set, so almost a 10 months to crush and the s-10 bulb was a bit thicker than the ram ones.

I think that would be ok with me (probably) because I would adjust the doors tighter for awhile and then back off again later.

When you think you are ready let me know.
I can't promise anything of course, but we'll see.
When I need incentive I look a pics like this, of what the car could be.:D

mine(the dodge ram ones) took 6 months total for the passengers side to crush down to the correct fit. I did re-adjust the door a bit after it fit correctly. I put the new ones (correct for the year/model colored ones ,He bought from year one) on a friends 65 and they took just about as long to crush into shape. The dodge ram seals look just the same if not better fitting as his for 1/3rd the price. When I compared both sets I found the bulb on the new ones is a bit larger and thicker than the original on both types of seals. the chevy s-10 seals have a little bit bigger bulb and took longer to crush into shape than the dodge ram.

There is a weather strip/ seal on the outside of the vent window '65 gt( about 15" long)....any idea who has those? Thanks.

I installed new weather striping on my 66 doors. Very tough to close. They close but have to be slammed. I used the striping made or sold by Metro. It seems the rubber is stiffer than it was new.

I used S-10 weatherstrip on my Mazda beater truck and the same issue: had to slam the door to close it. These were light too and it was scary how hard I had to slam them to get them to close. Im sure a heavy American door would be easier to close.

Do you have a pic of where these strips go?
yup, they go down the door a bit also and about 1 inch from the top. you can see in the lower hardtop vent the excess laying over the other vent that goes on the door covering the holes that mount the vent.
