I did an SCCA Track Night event at Thunderhill last Friday. My car is a 70 Swinger 340,727,3:23sg, 17x8. Here is a quick video.

Car is very basic; 1.03 t-bars, junkyard fr. sway bar (2wd Ranger) PST rear sw.bar, KYB shx all 4, 73-up k-member and fr.brakes with the large rotors, narrowed D100 axles in the A-body 8.75 with 3.23sg, urethene bushings in the rear shackles and strut rods, offset bushings in the upper control arms, aprox 4 deg caster and -1 camber. Stock 340 except Comp hyd cam, LD340 and 750dp carb, MP electronic. Wheels are Bullit 17x8 with Dunlop Direzza ss2 245/45-17 tires (3 seasons old). Aluminum radiator and remote trans cooler. Cobra seat, 5 point RCI harness, and Competition Engineering roll bar. Handles great, very balanced, brakes work well, but I am going to rig up some air ducts for the rear. Trans still gets hot, and dribbles fluid from vent by the end of the day. I may move the vent to the rear next time trans is out. It's lap times surprises people at the track. Fun, fun! Rick
