More parts! I love summit racing. Ordered my parts at 11pm and they came 2 days later with their free shipping!

I've been trying to keep busy. The motor is almost completely in. Still need to get me some pushrods, shins for the rockers and an intake. Itching to hear this thing fire up. On another note does anyone happen to know what size and thread bolts are used to mount the transmission to the transmission mount?

Nice to see this car saved. I used to work for John (the previous owner) so I was around this car quite frequently haha. I bought my '67 Valiant from him along with a '69 parts car back in ~2011. As you probably figured out already it is an original 383 4 speed '69 GTS.

Nice! Pat and John are still over there but they picked up another yard on 9W out in the town of Newburgh. John's actually engaged to my cousin. He's been moving some since he got another spot too. A lot of those cars are still around just really poor shape.

Ahh yes. They have a very cute daughter. John always told me he would build that Mod Top if he ever had a girl. Its been a year or so since I last seen them. My father has known the brothers for like the last 20+ years haha. Spent a lot of late nights & weekends there with my father. He's the one who did a lot of the body work on the black '69 Charger & Johns '71 'Cuda convertible. I remembered when they bought the other lot on 9W. Never been to that one though lol. I need to swing by there one of these days.

Between looking at houses and all this other craziness going on I haven't had time to up date this. So I picked up a damn near perfect grille for $50 and then hood with trim, trunk with trim, and rear bumper with brackets for another $100. I basically have all my body parts except for the headlight bezels. I got a fuel cell in the trunk I'm working on mounting. Also picked up some aluminum front bumper braces and fender rods as I have a glass front bumper. Overhead switch box made and mounted. I have also been working on some of the wiring on the car trying not to spend extra money and just working with what I have here. Once we get all settled in I'll get back at it. I think that's basically it in a nutshell. Later!

Haven’t really touched the car with the new house and repairs. Most body panels have been fitted and body work has begun. Got a few small things new front tires, driveshaft small nick nacks.

Got the rear brakes in which we’re a nightmare getting the right kit. Also got the radiator installed. Ordered a bunch more parts. Making progress!
