Dodge Rampage ???

The headers look like the 180* headers we used to run on stock cars in the 70's.

Yea, that was something else that slowed me down.

Thought I had found a company that makes them
when I received them, the box was broken with a round port peeking out.> big block CHEVY....$%^^&*&

called the company, they said that's what I ordered > BBC
When I order them TOLD them Big, Block Dodge> 440
they would only give me store credit, me pay return shipping.

So, I cut the Chevy flanges off, sent them back
installed MOPAR flanges, tweaked a few pipes to fit

sweet project , i know about wrong parts , seems like eveything that comes in is wrong and must be reordered .

That thing is sooooo cool! Let me know when you are taking it to the track and I'll be there. PS I think I have my Dart ready to race again.

Hope to have it finish in a few months (paint)
every project is waiting on paint, gonna rain some more this week.

Wanting to take the Dart Friday

Edit:
Dang, got to get my mind off the big picture.... Paint> More sanding %$^&
I don't like paint work.

The White Dart, will stay like it is , I like the worn patina look

The Car Hauler and Rampage will have matching paint themes

72 Swinger and 73 Cuda > street Cruisers will have nice paint jobs

Car Trailer and 92 CTD recently got slapped with a brush... lol
new fenders and electrical, the ramps are secured with a lock and chain welded to the floor
(covered / bag during rainy days) ,
they ride nice between the rear wheels of any car, (on the trailer)

COOL, Tell us about it.
Your not to far, we may have to line them up.... LOL

I was looking for something different. I kept coming back to this. I had a tube chassis Horizon around 2008 and the front end on the Rampage caught my eye. This one has a story behind it also. It was Paul Rossi's Super Gas car. Hot Rod magazine did a big article on the 382ci motor he built for this. Which came with the truck. Right now it currently has the R5 P7 Nascar engine with a 727 torqueflight trans behind it. I have never turned that many RPM's on a mopar motor before. I grit my teeth every time it shifts at 8000rpm. Runs 5.50 in the 1/8. Hoping to start running some Hot Rod or Super Street with it. Stay in touch maybe we can hit a good Mopar show somewhere. You just don't see these around. Good luck with your build.
