I am looking to put headers on my dart which will be getting a 383 and 727 TF swapped into it soon. The car has power steering and a column shifter. This has been making it hard for me to find what will actually fit. My original plan was to get the tti shorty headers found here: http://www.ttiexhaust.com/MoparClassics-Headers/44025-Shorty/TTi44025.htm
However, when I called them, they informed me that they are unsure if these headers will have clearance issues with the column shifter. Have any of you put these on running a column shifter? If any of you are running a big block with power steering and a column shifter, what are you using for exhaust? Thank you in advance.

Schumacher tri y headers. Ran them with a column shifter and p/s for a year in my 69 valiant with a 383. It now has a floor shifter in it. Driver side goes in from bottom and pass side drops right in.

Thank you for your reply. The only reason I am not considering those headers is because they are impossible to get. I called them earlier and then won't even be back in stock for another 5 weeks.

I've also heard that C body manifolds will work in my situation. Can that be confirmed?

Keep an eye out for a set on here. Quite a few sets have popped up for sale recently.

What manifolds have you guys used on your BB a bodies with a column shifter and power steering?

I have the Schumacher headers in my 68 Dart 440 with power steering. They fit perfect,by the way when you pull the starter to install the headers get the mini starter. the Dart has a floor shifter.
