Are you running a ballast resistor for the MSD Blaster SS? MSD's instructions say to run one but I've converted to HEI and ditched a ballast resistor for a reason. Some people say if you're using the Blaster SS with HEI or stock electronic ignition that a resistor isn't needed.
The whole reason I bought the Blaster SS was because the full 12V to my stock coil was cooking it. Will the Blaster SS survive full 12V at all times?
