I have been using a aluminum griffin gm style radiator for years with a 16" electric in front and a flex type fan on the motor. No shroud. The motor is an iron headed 570 hp 440. I have a champion CC375B new radiator I can put in. The core sizes are the same, 26x18. The griffin is cross flow with 2 1" rows, the champion has three 3/4" rows. I also have twin 10" electric fans and a flat aluminum shroud for them. The shroud can work on either radiator. My question is, which radiator is going to cool better? I will most likely use the twin fans exclusively with out a mechanical fan.

Electric fans seem to be a major problem, I've been working on a street rod with a 400 chevy and cant keep it cool went through 3 different 16" 3000 cfm fans, every one claims there fan moves more air so I bought a air flow meter and found that not one would move more than 1500 cfm, the worst was 1150 cfm. Have to give a hand to Cooling Components fan & shroud
they claim to have the best and claim 2650 cfm so I got it and it flowed 2650 on the money and kept it cool.
