Fender Pentastars

If they never made silver ones, then why is there a silver reproduction one that has been licensed as a "mopar authentic restoration" part?

Just curious. The pentastar on my '71 GT is definitely silver now, but it's certainly possible it started off gold as it doesn't have the black center either.
