The color of my car and the potential hood accent. Are you a fan of it?

So I am getting ready to dress out the top of the car from the side Stripe up. I am no Chip Foose (lol) but am dangerous enough to smear a coat of paint on metal. So I have the stripe kit for the hood. Now I myself am a fan of breaking up the color. In fact, I stuck my Dealer hood tach on it and even liked that. However my dad likes the ol' plain jane cars and he is on the bubble with the stripe.

Opinions good or bad doesn't matter. One picture is the current state of affairs and the other is of an A Body sold on Ebay a while back with the stripe and is the same color as mine.
