I have Hooker Headers on my 68 I gave my brother. 440. Tough to get in, but will out perform the Tri Y design. IMO.
 
everyone is all about these big tube exhaust headers. unless its a strictly a track car. go with the try wye
 
hard to beat the performance and fitment period
 
Unless your car is 500+ hp you will never notice a difference between the Schumacher and a larger diameter header.
 
If you don't mind cutting a couple small holes in your fenders, I like the ProParts headers; Bob Mazzolini is making them now.

One pipe into the fenderwell on the passenger side and 2 pipes on the driver side.
