1966 Dart help needed

Im working on my 66 Dart and I have a question about the front fender where the bumber comes around the corner.

In the top pic you can see where there is a small area that still has primer in it. It appears in the corner. The lower pic has the exact same indentation or recess but with paint still on it. I had an old body man stop in the other day andat first he thought they were dents until I told him they were both the same. Can anyone verify on your car if you have a factory DENT or is it a smooth area? If possible can you post a pic as well?

looks like a dent to me from the bumper forcing the metal up a bit.

mine had a dent from the bumper hitting it but the other dart did not. smooth on that one
I'd put your headlight bezel on the fender and make sure the lower portion of the fender isn't bent in a bit also.
