Just curious, prices are modest and it looks like they have tons of inventory but this site just sucks... unorganized, bad pictures, etc. Wouldn't mind getting a bolt on hood with dual scoop if I only knew what the quality of their product was.... And no, I don't want to be a guinea pig either!:)

If your looking for a fiberglass hood AAR is the best in the bussiness and Glastek is pretty good too..

Highly recommend Glasstek . I have one of their hoods and it fits great

I've seen a lot of great products from AAR and Glasstek, they are a known commodity.... I was wondering about the products from "Showcars" in the link I provided and whether or not anyone has had any dealings with them? Nothing wrong in finding new suppliers with good prices, but if it's crap at least we will know to stay away.

Yeah, I found some of those as well... Kind of disappointing. I was intrigued by the complete front ends with the sharktooth grills.

Do the nice hoods mentioned above work well with hinges or do they have to be pinned at all four corners?

Any lift or bowing when driving?

aar...had a bolt on 6pk hood on my sat. Fit and finish..top notch. Not a flimsy race piece.

I kinda wanna go to a fiberglass hood, but it will never come from the site the OP is asking about.

You might look on the VFN fiberglass web site . They have bolt on as well as pin on hoods . Their hoods do not have scoops on them but pick out the one you want and they will install it before they ship it . I have used them before and quality is good . they have been in business for quite a few years . Built a 71 demon for a friend years ago and used a VFN hood .

Showcars is located somewhat close to me in Canada. Ive seen him and his gf/wife out buying at a swap meet. I wouldn't recommend them.

Thanks Jhenry , The car was build 20 years ago , Pic's were taken at Bristol in1997 , was in Mopar Collectors Guide on 1998 . Won Concours of Pro Street , Editors Choice for Mopar Collectors Guide mag , and Best Of show . At the time the car had more tricks in it than a $500.00 hooker .
