Getting pretty old having to drop the driveshaft and coilovers on this car. What are the other big tire ladder bar guys doing for pulling tires.

That's what I had to do with my '69 Dart that I built to run NHRA Super Street years ago. The rules allowed stretching the rear wheel openings but not raising them.
I ran a 14"-wide slick with everything tucked underneath. Looked great but was a hassle to have to jack the body sky high and drop the rear suspension to change tires.

Curious myself.
we ran 16 x32`s for a while on the hemi, had to let the air out of the tires and pry down on the tops of the tire w/ a wooden paddle, while the rear was dangling on the shocks. 66-67 belvedere- fully tubbed.

Interesting idea, I kind of doubt it would be safe or even legal tho.
Most European cars use bolts instead of studs and nuts, the head of the bolt is tapered like a traditional lug nut.
How about removable screw in studs/lug nuts?

That makes sense, if you have less backspacing like I did with with a stretched wheel opening. They would come off without all that extra effort of disconnecting things.
Can you get coilovers with more travel so the rear end drops down enough to get the tires off?

No idea on rear end but i habe 15x14 wheels with 7 inches if back spacing
I'm betting you have the required longer wheel studs too - - - - it is what it is - short of cutting the rear quarters to make them "Hemi Dart style" - - I can't even begin to imagine what else you might do.. kinda comes with the territory don't ya know
