I have a 440 that I put the FiTech EFI on last year. Just recently it has started to stumble and cut out under full acceleration at an idle. If I ease into the throttle at maybe a 2 or 3 count before peddle to the floor, I takes off fine. Don't think it could be ignition issues cause it only does this from an idle and no other time. I'm not using it as a timing control and I've rechecked the IAC and throttle postion and it's all good.

Any ideas would be great.

Could be timing.
Is your EFI tunable? It sounds that the acceleration circuit is getting too much fuel.

do you have the ability to look at your TPS data?

If it is bogging it is loading up on fuel. Are the plugs good? Or the acceleration circuit is or has been too rich. I went through it on my Fast EFI 2.0 and cut the value down.

First thing I would do is set your handheld up where you can watch it and then use the large gauges to view the AFR. See what it is doing at the time it causes your issue.

Put your handheld in, turn on your data logging and take it for a ride. Download into your computer. You need excel spreadsheet to read it. It's pretty easy once you figure it out. You can send the file to FITech for them to read it too
