I just bought an NOS Dart quarter Panel. Wondering if there is any market for it. AMD makes some good quarters but this is NOS so I was wondering if I should use for patches for my 69 Or sell it?

Don't cut it up for patches. Sell it then buy the patch panels you need.
Lots of people would like to get their hands on that quarter

Depends on how small you can cut up the leftovers and how much each sliver is worth? Maybe could make it into a Mopar puzzle?

I'd rather see someone use it as a whole quarter. It is a very straight piece. Any idea what it is worth? I've heard it's over 1k. I don't know. It is covered with a light surface rust. Should I prep it or leave it as is?

It's worth depends on condition. I wouldn't be too interested in a rusty one. Leave it and let the buyer see it. If you try to 'clean it up' they might think you are hiding something.

Amd quarters are $600. If your NOS one was not rusted a thousand would be fair for the person wanting a high level OE correct resto. IMO

You either bought the NOS quarter panel at a screaming deal (less than $500) or you paid something closer to $1k. Considering it's not a direct fit on your '69, which you likely knew before purchasing, you bought it knowing you could flip it and make some nice coin. There's nothing wrong with making some coin on a sale since an item is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. However, it sounds like you're asking for confirmation that you found a nice part at a great price and are now trying to ratchet up the selling price by suggesting to cut it up. If you're going to sell it, post it up in the classified section with a price and see if it sells. If it doesn't sell for the price you think it's worth, then cut it up.

If it is a 1970-1 2 door quarter panel, it has value. 1972 and up panels usually are less in demand.
Please post photos of the rust

I am absolutely not trying to ratchet up the price. I'd like to swap it for an AMD quarter or sell for the same price as what an AMD would cost to get it to my door. I did get it at a smoking deal. It has surface rust but it's still a very nice , straight piece. I don't need confirmation to sell it or cut it up , just wanted an opinion.
