How much would you pay for a modern tech 15" 60 series performance streetable tire?

Well, I didn't poke around the web to look for any. The combo of the above super sticky tires AND a long 300+ wear rating seems like the impossible combo.

What you said early about the cars suspension and body flex giving out before a decent tire does is so dead on correct it makes me laugh. I hope there is something out there for you and I.

There are some 15" sizes for some tires in that class but they're all in import car diameters (<24") so basically useless if the goal is period-correct proportions or good taste.

I'm very ok with 200 treadwear which seems to be the standard for sticky streetable rubber. No, they don't last long but for the vast majority of us, half of our tires (specifically the front ones ;) ) die of old age before they wear down to the belts.
