so I picked up a 73 duster today. Gonna need 4 quarter panels, floor in the truck, brake system, wiring harness, interior, fuel lines and tank. The silver lining is in the motor.

Either one path would have its merits and please keep us posted!

I voted /6 . As great as hot rod Dusters are they're starting to become more common than the examples that would have represented the species in their day. There's a reason why almost every American older than 40 (and some of us younger too) have a family story of a (usually) beloved reliable, loyal slant six powered little car that was a faithful friend or got them through tough times. They're treasures in their own right.

Got my work cut out. Looking for a donor car or I'll just buy a panel a paycheck.

4 barrel intake, with Holley Terminator EFI (worth its weight in gold), turbo, clutch flight manual trans, copper base coat with a black top coat and the edges weathered down to the copper.

Having my uncle fabricate all brushed stainless dash and panels, custom gauges, rubberized floor coating and headliner. Fabricated hole punch grill, front chin spoiler, rear NASCAR style spoiler and rear diffuser.

It'll follow a slight protouring vibe but be very original and classic with a custom touch.
