11 x 2 Brakes?

Asbestos brake shoes are the only thing that should be used? Yeah ok. That's why they still run mesothelioma commercials on TV, because asbestos brake shoes are a great idea. And if you're not running semi-metallic shoes because they'll wear out the drums faster, well, it's time to park the car. Drums stop the car, preserving the drums means not stopping the car as well. If you're more worried about the drums wearing out than hitting the car in front of you, it's time to park that garage queen for good.

I've pulled 3 sets of 11x2's out of the wrecking yards right here in California, off a Newport, a Monaco, and a definitely not a C-body D100. They weren't special. Seems like the drums were available not all that long ago. Maybe they'll show up again like the 10" SBP drums did when they do another production run, the kind of demand those drums have doesn't warrant year round production. Just intermittent short runs. Or maybe they won't come back and you'll have to upgrade to the more popular 11x2.5's, which are plenty available. Stop better too.
