Hi i'm looking for slant six header and 2 or 4bbl intake for my 64" valiant, i'm looking for used part for cheap price and shipping to france thanks

I have shipped small to medium size parts under 20 pounds about 8.6 kilo to Sweden and Switzerland and even with the weight that light, shipping rates are very high. Then couple the weight with the size of the box for the headers, it might be several hundred dollars for shipping. Do you know anyone who ships his parts for himself (and maybe for others as well) by a container? Shipping those item within the US is much less than to Europe!

Also please let us know if your slant is a 225 3.7l or 170 (I think about 2.8l), do you have manual or power steering and auto or manual transmission. All this information is important as some headers fit the 225 but not the 170, some with power steering and some only manual steering, etc.

Depending on your info above, I might have a set of headers/4 barrel manifold that I could bring to Charles de Gaulle next May!

I have a 170 manual slant six without power steering

There are no commercially made headers that fit an early A with the 170 engine. To make Clifford shorties fit, the front 3 tubes must be sectioned shorter to make them clear the manual steering box. This is because the 170 is a low deck and not as tall as the 225. Another option is to use a Dutra manifold on the front with a modified rear manifold. I Cannot remember if a pair of Dutras will work on a 170. The Offy 4 barrel fit the 170 without issues if a stock (or the modified exhaust manifold) is used. The Clifford 4 barrel is used with headers.
