Driveshaft advice

So I am building a 71 dart 340 4spd. It's almost done and need a driveshaft. The 8 3/4 is a b body and has the larger joint. I don't have a trans yoke for the a833. I am building the car to handle and be nimble. Is there a significant advantage to a custom shaft?

Yes, you can get a custom shaft made for your application... They can make the length perfect and also you can substitute stronger parts and u-joints...
