Does anyone know where I can get the 3 prong female plug that goes on the backup/neutral start switch on the 727 tranny for my 68 barracuda ? I've tried running wires to it , but they won't stay connected (bayonet connector). I remember someone else asking this question a couple of years ago, and the search came up empty. Any Ideas ????????

you can get the pigtail from ebay, amazon, or just about any local parts supplier

68 should only have one wire on it. Backup switch is on the steering column. But you should be able to get a new connector from a parts store.

maybe it was originally , but the switch on the tranny has 3 prongs and the shifter is on the floor hump.

The standard crimp on connector will work for the single wire NSS...
