He will never sell this car, it will stay in the family! He also inherited a 1960 Chevy impala which was bought new by my wife's grandfather, but that one needs a little more work to finish. Cars are a family affair for our family, so like i said, it's in good hands now!

That's good to hear. My only advice for him is if he wants to put his own flavor on go for it but think about what is being changed on the car and keep oddball parts that made the car what it is today. Down the road it may end up looking just like it does today and it's hard to track down stuff like a specific radio that was in the car at the time he took possession of it.....
