Side exhaust for me at the moment but switching to x pipe vented under car so it will be street legal soon.

Thanks. Great thread. Seriously, it took me 1 1/2 hours to do that first oil change. Always thought maybe I was missing an easy solution but I love these headers too much. Its well worth the sacrifice. Well....misery loves company! Lol!

Just have car chemistry muffler inserts in header collectors for now.
Technically mufflers and street legal in va. but when I start her squirrels fall out of trees, dogs bark & neighbors get pissed.
Love it.
 
Get a smaller filter and change just the filter more often. IIRC a 2.2L had a much smaller filter can, but the same threaded boss and end plate as the short and long V8 filters.
