The previous owner installed some Mopar factory 14 inch rallye wheels on my '65 Formula S. One of these days, I need to clean them up, paint 'em, restore 'em some. However, I only have one of the trim rings. My questions are:

1) Did all factory installed rallye wheels always include the trim rings?
2) What happens if I don't use the trim rings, do I need to restore the wheels in a different manner or must I find three more trim rings to match?

Thank you.

All Factory Rallye's came with trim rings. I don't like them and do not run them. I just clean them up (bead blast) and then paint with Mopar Wheel Polyurethane.

My 72 demon came from the factory with the trim rings. It would depend on whether or not you like the look without them after you restore the wheels.

My '66 came with them. The wheels were so pitted from rust that I don't have much choice but to run the trim rings. I'm a fan of the rallye wheels either way though.

for what it's worth i think only 1970 15 inch were polished all others were brushed but you can do whatever you like.I like rallies on cars that came with them but a lot of guys put them on '69 Darts and many others that they were never available on...just please yourself!

I'm with rustyfish, I love the Rallye Wheels with or without trim rings.
