Adjustable Roller Rockers

Hold the adjuster as you tighten the lock nut.
I've never used locktite but I've read that others have. I just make sure they are tighten snug with 16 ft/lbs of torque. Can you see locktite residue on the lock nut if you take one or two off?
I tighten the lock nut very tightly while holding the adjuster with a allen wrench and using a open end wrench on the lock nut. Then tighten the lock nut to 16 ft/lbs with a socket and torque wrench. The adjuster shouldn't move that much if you tighten pretty tightly with the open end wrench. I just chose 16 ft/lbs because it was close what I was tighten them by hand. The lock nut wouldn't move but just a tad bit more so I decided that was a good torque spec. Don't know if that is correct torque but it works for me. Never had one back off.
