I never thought of putting a radiator drain plug on the block. Great idea. I am dreading removing the motor mount on the pass. side to get at the drain
Yep, that's an old trick. Did that with my old 340 build back in the early '70s. Sure makes it easy to drain the block if you need to pull the engine. Cuts down the big mess when you have to drain the block with the engine out.
