So we shall see a Lawnart become a Lawn Dart?... :) Pun Intended,... 383 is a nice build, check out Schumacher, for bolt in mounts, without changing a slant 6/ small block K member...(Yes, they are different, using a 383 low deck,"over a 440 RB..." makes headers/ exhaust manifolds MUCH EASIER...to deal with.)

Thanks for the info, I got a v-8 K member a gentleman with a 64 383 and he said it would need different motor mounts also, so maybe it would just be easier to leave the 6 cylinder k member and change the motor mounts since I have to do it either way or would there even be a difference in changing to the v8 k?
