Aftermarket bucket seats for tall folks

So I bought a Procar Sportsman racing seat with their bracket. I was happy with everything until I got it installed and sat in the car for the first time. My head is scrapping the ceiling and the steering wheel is practically between my knees. I'm 6'3" and pushing close to 250 so I can see how this issue didn't seem to come up for most people suggesting these seats. Fortunately I just bought the one so it can be a passenger seat for now.

My question here is what's the best solution to this problem? Ideally I'd need something that didn't need brackets to install. I'd like something that will hold me in place during a corner and have a little more padding than a chunk of plastic. Any suggestions?
I went with buckets from an Eclipse. I'm a tad over 6 feet and 230, the eclipse seats have built in brackets that are really really low. Just enough to clear the slider of the floor. Cost was 25 bucks a pop from pick a part. They have enough side bolstering to hold you in for most spirited street driving though I wouldn't wanna go road race door to door with them.
