any help on specs on that cam

Wish I could help.... no old catalogs like that. I did find other threads on GK cams.... run the forums search for "general kinetics' . These threads says that the 6 may be a G and the 304 may be the advertised duration; H is for hydraulic. General kinetics cam

How do you use this car/engine?

just for a street car with 355 gears and maybe a 4-speed with a LD340 and factory HP exhaust in a 70 dart and like I said I put the Isky cam and the thing was a dog, when it had th GK cam it was a beast, thought going a little bigger cam would make her even more of a beast but no.thanks

That is what is perplexing.... but a slow ramp from .005" lift to .050" lift can end up with lower .050" duration than you might think. So that might explain it. There were some cams like that in the 70's made for better fuel mileage and low RPM torque with higher compression engines. Now you got me curious!

If it ran so well, why did you change it? Why do you have to "know" what something is? If it works well, run it.

Geeze Rob why do you have to always have to interject logic into everything?
